The oppositeness of two ideological ideas reached its peak in the last part of the movie ; when Christopher is dying already knowing that 'happiness is only real when shared'. Sean Penn showed this by contrasting the scene where Chrsitopher is dying (which represents his utopian existnce free of society) with and intorvowing with scenes of his childhood memories. The director has used special lighting to portray this utopian family existence.
